STAGE: THE WILD DUCK, YVONNE ARNAUD THEATRE (1979)

In the early part of 1979, Paul Elliott Productions invited TP to undertake the role of Gregers Werle in a touring production of Ibsen's The Wild Duck.  He had previously played the part in a television adaptation for RTE in 1968.  He was cast opposite Benjamin Whitrow (Hjalmar Ekdal) and Helen Ryan and after an opening three week run at the Yvonne Arnaud theatre in Guildford it would play a week at a time including the following cities and towns:  Bath, Lincoln, Nottingham, Richmond, Reading and Newcastle.
